Hey, is anyone else a little chilly?

For any of you not in Chicago, I don’t know if you’ve heard about our weather lately…

COLD.

(No joke.) 

Some people are surprised that Chicago Public Schools close down when it gets this cold, but it’s because way too many kids just don’t have coats, let alone hats and gloves, to safely make it to school.

Welp, CPS was closed, but the park district was not! ...Which meant we could still have rehearsal! (and the schedule to adapt and rehearse a show is already so tight, even losing one day of rehearsal is devastating!)

And we, the Loyola Park Show cast, not to be deterred by -30 degree wind chills, declared a pajama day* at rehearsal.

*It was, to be more precise, a sweater + pajama + long underwear day.
