HAPPY MARDI GRAS FOLKS!
Today, on this disgustingly frigid day, I’m trying to rally all the Monkeys to go to New Orleans for a year to be around some other folks who really love wigs, bright colors, and exuberant dancing to music with occasionally silly lyrics.
Until then, we’ll be working on the Loyola Park Afterschool Program show!
Sometimes, we have issues reading the students’ handwriting. This gets tough, because we definitely want to get it right before we perform it for the author and their classmates. For example, please take the issue of a story about a bullfrog.

The hero of the story is a frog whose distinguishing feature is two very round eyeballs on the top of his head. There is some confusion as to the second letter of his name. Is this frog named Bullsy, because he is [perhaps] a bullfrog? Or is this Ballsy the frog, with his prominent eyeballs?
Guys, we do not know. We’re doing our best. New Orleans might have the answer, so I’m gonna keep checking if there are any good deals on Greyhound.
