Company Members
You: I love That’s, Weird Grandma
Joe: I am so glad, so do we
You: I was thinking about coming to the show tonight, but I am not sure
Joe: You should! It’s going to be a fun one!
You: What’s going to be so fun about tonight?
Joe: Oh man. I’ll tell you. But I am going to do so in the context of a formula.
You: Okay. Hey didn’t you go to a Math Science Magnet High School?
Joe: Yes. But this is a fake formula. I learned how to make fake formulas from myself on my childhood swing set in my backyard.
You: Ok, carry on.
Joe: Here it is:
brand new ensemble member Immanuel Guest’s 2nd TWG show
+
company member CARLY CIARROCCHI visiting from the east coast will be in the audience
+
the debut of the new TWG closer written by company member CURTIS WILLIAMS

A FUN NIGHT. (Which is, in fact, the code word for a discounted ticket! Say “A FUN NIGHT.” at the box office and get some dough chopped off your ticket.)
You: I am there. How do I make reservations again?
Joe: Order tickets online. We are fancy like that. Reservations may also be made by calling our reservation line: 312-409-1954.
You: I forget exactly how you all get from page to stage and whatnot.
Joe: Oh! Watch this video made by Del Sato. It explains everything.
You & Joe: See you tonight

“That’s Weird Abuelita”... hotter than the heat wave scorching da Chi.” If I was editor for a fancy newspaper, that would be the head line for the morning edition. That’s right my friends, you heard it hear first; “That’s Weird Abuelita” is a great show. It’s been a blast brushing up on my Spanish (and I’ve had to brush way up), dissecting stories, and working with this amazing cast. What I love so much about Abelita is the opportunity to reach out to a new audience. A different demographic from the fantastic folks who see TWG on the regular basis, and share some awesome stories written by kids.

Mari, Nicole, and Brenda adapted a very touching song with Immanuel on keys and Nick on guitar. And just when you think you’ll be over come with emotion and can no longer fight back the tears…. a few stories later, an incompetent magician vanishes Levy to Outer Space! Ha!! Ha!! Ha!! Take that NASA!!!

So mark it down in your calendars good people and check it out. Cause this show is gonna be HOT!!!

Barrel of Monkeys is pleased to announce new Acting Ensemble Member Immanuel Guest, who will make his debut tonight on the Neo-Futurist stage.

Come see him tonight. He dances ballet! He turns into a werewolf! He performs wizardry! He is Michael Jackson! He gets a pie in the face! And! The song he composed for Morton Elementary, called “Stone Villain” will start off the show.
His fellow cast members include:
Lindsey Dorcus, Linsey Falls, Nicholas Hart, Tai Palmgren, Kaite Suib, Dixie Uffelman and Curtis Williams.
BONUS!
New Stage Manger Miranda Anderson will be orchestrating the lights and sound.
