School Shows

Hey Y’all, Kassi here.
I’ve just come from a fantastic rehearsal for our performance at Marquette School of Excellence, and this show is full of so many of my favorite things. Now I know what you are saying to yourself, “what are Kassi’s favorite things?”
Oh I thought you’d never ask! Here they are, in particular order.

Cabbage Pizza Sandwiches

School Shows

You guys! It’s just about time for Learn Campbell School’s Spring Show. Woah! So many amazing stories have been coming out of this awesome school all school year round (Seriously. Awesome Fall and Awesome Winter. And here we are at Awesome Spring! Awesome!)

We’ve been having more fun than should be legal reading and adapting stories like “Dance School” by Danae B. and Tyla E., “Old Tommy and Brownie the Lost Cat” by Camron F., and “Tim Makes a Sandwich” by James R.. “Tim Makes a Sandwich,” was written about Monkey actor and teacher Tim Soszko, and, method actor that he is, Tim’s been making and eating sandwiches in preparation for the big show on Friday. Here he is, eating a sandwich he made:

Also fun? Arguing the merits of Pizza vs. Boiled Cabbage. Mary and Shay reaaaaaally love their boiled cabbage, but Laura and Matt are awfully persuasive in the pizza department.  This story was written by a group of LEARN Campbell students, who had a pretty obvious bias towards one of these two food options. Can you guess which one?

I propose the cast borrows a page from Tim’s book and eats only cabbage pizza sandwiches every day until the show. It’s for the students, y’all – it’s the least we can do to ensure a knockout show for them!!
