After School Program
Here’s a little taste of some of the awesomeness that will occur at the Loyola Park Winter show today…..

This is how many iPods it takes to make the magic

Diego is tired after all that adapting

James trying to talk through the giant space helmet=hilarious

There is nothing I can say to explain this photo

And then this adorable puppy showed up at rehearsal
But that’s not all! There will also be a self-propelled farting cat, Kate Staiger as a kleptomaniac mother, beautiful and haunting red balloons and a cameo by Abraxes from “When I Went to Wizard World” by Lauren H. from the Dewey School.
It’s gonna be great ya’ll!

My First Show
by: Diego
Today was my very first show with BOM. It was at Dawes School. Here are some words I would use to describe my time working with BOM and also incorporate the name Dawes.
-Dawesome
-Dawesmazing
-Dawestounding
&
-IncrediDawes
I was incredibly excited to see all the wonderful students in attendance as we brought our great show to them. Personally, I had a great time being an elephant, a cool cat, a guitar player, a troll, a little girl, on fire, and a guy who cartwheels through a window. who can say that about their day? Something that I thought would be scary and intimidating turned out to be the funnest week ever! I made some great friends and had some good clean fun doing it. My only regret is not asking for that final group hug from everyone I so desperately wanted. Oh well, looks like i’ll have to track people down for individual hugs. As I go to sleep tonight, visions of Monkeys being silly will dance in my head. Luckily, I’m gonna get up and do it again. HOORAY!!
The End
P.S. Means Post Script
P.P.S do I have to end my blogs with The End?

School Shows
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness. Dawes School show is going to rock! And there are three reasons why. Count with me, now…
ONE! It is a beautiful blend of true stories, stretching-the-truth stories, dialogues, arguments, and fastest-stories-ever. You may have noticed that the Dawes School residency was only four classes, but that there are five genres included in the show. That’s because the students at Dawes were so awesome that they were able to master the concept of stretching the truth without our dedicating and entire class period to it. Without even having to be told, these kids brought the THUNDER!
TWO! This cast is made up of lots of new Monkeys, two of whom are making their Monkey-debut. You’d never guess it though. There are stellar songs, dynamic dancing, and mind-blowing mustaches. Class of 2012 is full of stars.
THREE! Acapella closer. Enough said.

Three New Stories This Week!
NOT SO MUCH PRESSURE
by Lazaireus P, 5th Grade Morton 2012 Argument
(Song composed by Nicholas Hart)
I am Batman and I believe that I shouldn’t save the world every day. One reason why I think I shouldn’t have to save the world every day is because I is saving the world every day and he has a life and it should not just be about saving people because he could probably die just like other humans could. One more reason is because while he is outside trying to save the world who will save his family from danger because it’s not like he could teleport. The end
