That's Weird Grandma
I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Know what gets a full week back at work off to a good start? Seeing Barrel of Monkeys, of course!
Because of the holiday, we didn’t have a rehearsal this week so the show is the same as last week. Which means it is really really good. Also, tomorrow (Tuesday) is the first of our three special summertime matinees. We’re expecting a really good crowd tomorrow, but could use some more folks for the 15th and 22nd. We hear often that 8pm on a Monday is too late for the little ones, so we encourage you to play hooky from whatever usually keeps you occupied at 11:00am on a Tuesday and join us at the Neo-Futurarium. Tickets are, of course, available in advance.
The running order for tonight and tomorrow is after the jump. We’ll change it up again for next week, never fear.

(Dixie is second from the left)
The sadness at Dixie’s imminent departure from the office is, however, tempered by the excitement at having hired Elizabeth Levy as our new Program Director.

More after the jump!

We’re back from Milwaukee and ready to go! Kurt has promised to write more about the actual AG Bell performance and trip as a whole, so I won’t spoil it by revealing any of the details.
Luckily we all got back in time for rehearsal on Sunday and the show tonight. We’ve added two dialogues to the running order, and under the guest direction of Lauren Sharpe (Laura Grey is on a quick vacation) the show should be fantabulous. Full running order after the jump—and as always, you can buy your tickets online!
Also, remember we have THREE special matinees coming up in July! Tuesdays at 11:00, July 8, 15 and 22.

Welcome, Monkey Blog Readers. Lots of news coming up. Pay attention real close, ‘cuz this blog is coming to you from Kurt Chiang, who has only been in the company for about a year and a half, which means he doesn’t have a digital camera yet. So, this entry is going to be flavored a tad differently. You’ll see what I mean in a second. Unless you’ve cheated and you’ve already scrolled yourself down on the digital browser. Let’s get to business…
The upcoming show is for the AG Bell Convention, hosted by the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The convention will be in glorious MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN.
