TWG Weekly Update
We’re doing a raucous version of ‘That’s Weird, Grandma’ on Sunday March 13 @ 2pm and on Monday March 14th @ 8pm.
It is performing ensemble member Jeff Trainor’s first round of TWG and he is rockin’ it.
Also, esteemed theater critic Ada Grey will be happy to know that we have cut the story “The Worried Dog” where the dog uses the person’s bathroom. Some people liked the story, but a lot of people, like Ada, did not and crossed it out.
Going IN to the show are:
‘Me and my boyfriend having a nice time until the end’
and
‘Space Librarian’
They both have pretty intricate plots so rather than summarize them for you as I sometimes do, I’ll let you read them (below), or better yet, come!!
$2 off in the kitchen if you say, “soft hearted stuntman.”
Here is the order of plays:

TWG Weekly Update
People on the planet,
We are rehearsing another whiz-banger of a show for You.
It’s a walloping, mighty cast doing hilarious work.
It will go down on Sunday at 2pm AND on Monday at 8pm.
We’re putting in some gold-
FISH!!!! Treasure Hunter #4: Where the Map Leads!
This is the 4th installment of a 5 part series that Connor wrote at our Loyola Park after school program. It stands alone just fine, believe me. Kind of like The Prince of Tides.
Dear Diary (I Sang) is a new, doo-wop number about a girl singing throughout her entire day. Some of my best choreography from last year.
How I Got My 1st Dog – Alexis’s mom thinks Alexis will only overcome her fear of dogs by going to the dog store and buying the most ferocious one!
Password for $2 off at the box office is “FISH!!!”.
And now, the list of plays:

TWG Weekly Update
Well friends, my brief tenure as the TWG director is almost over. February was a short month, and the first round of matinees will be ending this Sunday. Not to worry! Another equally stellar round follows immediately upon its heels, with an equally inspired director (Luke.)
Maybe because the Oscars are also this Sunday night, I think a short speech is in order. I’d like to thank Luke for entrusting me with the first matinee round of 2011. I’d like to thank the cast for their hard work, enthusiasm, talent, and overall greatness. And I’d like to thank the awesome audiences who have been coming the past few weekends.
New stories this week are another dialogue include an old favorite, Stupid, and a short but hilarious dialogue, The Cat and Dog. Full running order after the jump.
And say, how’d you like $2 off? Well, just say “grounded” at the box office, and you’ve got it!

TWG Weekly Update
Hi, friends! We have another awesome show planned for tomorrow afternoon, and some good news for those of you who missed our Valentine-themed stories. If you were too busy rubbing noses with your cuddlemuffin, or grinding Conversation Hearts into a fine powder under the heel of your snowboot, we’ve left in a few of our meditations on love (and candy) for a bit longer. We’ve also added two more stories: the medical drama The Day I Pulled A Muscle and a classic creep-out from the Monkey archives: 800 foot American Girl Doll/Talking Picture.
For $2 off your ticket, just say “Chimchar” at the box office.
Running order after the jump.
