Would you like to LEARN what we’re working on?

Barrel of Monkeys is ramping up our first of two school shows at LEARN Campbell and it’s already SO WONDERFUL! The stories are so character-driven.. The dialogue feels so real, and in the words of director, Molly, the writing is just downright sophisticated. It’s really just lovely. We’re having fun. Thank you, students of LEARN Campbell!
I’m not much of a photographer, and we’ve been inspired by these stories to do some pretty strange-looking things, and when you combine those two facts together, you get a fun game called “Guess what’s happening at LEARN rehearsal!!”
What do you think is happening in this picture? Is it:
A) Sarah is singing from the rooftops and Laura is going to sneak up on her and do some crazy karate moves?
B) Donnell and Brandon are holding Sarah captive in a tree, and Laura the cat is going to try to rescue her?
C) Sarah is behaving terribly and playing and jumping on the couch and Laura is afraid she’s going to fall?

It’s “C”! Very, very bad, Sarah. You should not play on the couch.
Okay - that was fun! Let’s do it again. What do you think is happening in this picture? Is it:

B) The cast is at a support group for strange fears and obsessions, like fear of shoes and dishwashers?
C) The cast is sitting around trying to figure out how to sneak out of rehearsal without being noticed?

Alright! Last one. What is happening in this picture? Is it:
A) Dan is a very tall man and Ryan is his very tall dog?
B) There’s a mouse in the house and Dan and Ryan are SO SCARED?
C) Princess Dan and Duchess Ryan are looking out their window at what the peasants are doing, just ‘cuz they can?
